  1.  Trailing her silver glories through the night: 
  2.  On the EarthΓÇÖs orbit see the various signs,  
  3.  Mark where the Sun, our year completing, shines;  
  4.  First the bright Ram his languid ray improves;  
  5.  Next glaring watΓÇÖry throΓÇÖ the Bull he moves;  
  6.  The amΓÇÖrous Twins admit his genial ray;  
  7.  Now burning, throΓÇÖ the Crab he takes his way; 
  8.  The Lion, flaming, bears the solar power;  
  9.  The Virgin faints beneath the sultry shower. 
  10.       Now the just Balance weighs his equal force, 
  11.  The slimy Serpent swelters in his course;  
  12.  The sabled Archer clouds his languid face;  
  13.  The Goat, with tempests, urges on his race;  
  14.  Now in the water his faint beams appear,  
  15.  And the cold Fishes end the circling year.
